Shehu Sani issued a warning in a statement to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, against sharing of Subsidy funds to Governors.

I believe that the government should not pay individual subsidy funds, but rather use the resources for things that we can see and benefit from, he stated.

He went on to say that during Mele Kyari’s administration, there has been a radical and revolutionary transformation in the oil sector, with oil being discovered and exploited in the North, and that oil theft in the Niger Delta has also been substantially decreased.

In response to the issue of insecurity, Shehu Sani stated that President Tinubu has gotten off to a good start by removing and appointing service chiefs.

He referred to the appointments of the Chief of Defense Staff, Secretary General of the Federation, and National Security Advisers as “square pecks in a square hole.”

Terrorists have turned regions in a part of Nigeria into a killing hub in the last eight years, adding elements of Iswap and Bandits are still holding territories to ransom killing and kidnapping innocent Nigerians.

The government of President Mohamadu Buhari has spent $20 million in the name of security and defense and has nothing to show for it, he claimed.

He stated that the current service chiefs had no choice but to preserve Nigerian citizens and the country’s territorial integrity.

Our country must be salvaged and put back on track for sustainable development and peaceful coexistence of our people, he stated.
