There is currently heavy shooting at the Lekki Toll Gate area of Lagos as #EndSARS protesters defy a government curfew to continue their demand for an end to police brutality.
In a twist of events, the policemen and soldiers went out to enforce a 24-hour curfew at Lekki Toll Gate and shot the protesters on Tuesday night.
The shooting led to the dispersal of some of the protesters, who had remained at the Plaza, hours after the curfew went into force. Video clips from the scene, showed some protesters on the floor, hit by bullets.
The staccato of gunshots can be heard from a video, as some of the protesters ran for their lives.
