The new Discover feature of Spotify spotted product designer Chris Messina, first appeared in the testing beta edition of the portable app.
Tap the Discover symbol in the toolbar along the lower part of the screen, and you’re treated to a full screen video to accompany a short melody cut.

However Messina just shows three Discover videos in his preview, they all appear to be extracts from official music videos.
Navigating Spotify Discover appears to work the same way as TikTok, allowing clients to look here and there to flick between videos.
The tune name, artist, and album art all appear in a bar at the lower part of the screen, and clients can like a video by tapping on a heart symbol.
Spotify Discover looks as however it’s aimed at making finding new music somewhat really engaging a reason fabricated melody idea device for when you want to work out your playlists.
Notwithstanding, Discover does somewhat miss the fact that looking through cuts on TikTok is an activity rarely directed with productive reason, its appeal lying in its ability to scratch our inactive tingle for speedy entertainment.
Spotify representative declined to give any information on the test while speaking to our correspondent.
“At Spotify, we routinely conduct a number of tests in an effort to improve our user experience,” a Spotify spokesperson told Mashable. “Some of those tests end up paving the way for our broader user experience and others serve only as an important learning. We don’t have any further news to share at this time.”
As such, we don’t have a clue when this new feature will be coming to Spotify if it’ll be released at all.
However, don’t be surprised if your favorite artists eventually start sharing their own official dances via Discover.
