American record producer, Stevie J, has filed for divorce from Faith Evans just after three years of marriage.
The 50-year-old record producer filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, November 8. In July 2018, the pair married in Las Vegas, surprise their friends and family with an intimate ceremony held in their hotel room.

The couple has no children together, and it’s unknown if they had a prenuptial agreement before their wedding.
Some may not be surprised by the breakup, considering Stevie and Faith have had a rocky relationship in the past. Faith was arrested for domestic violence over a year ago after she allegedly assaulted her husband.
Faith Evans was detained about 1 a.m. in May 2020, according to law authorities, after cops were called to their residence in Los Angeles. Faith and Stevie apparently had a heated dispute that escalated into violence.

When authorities arrived at the house, they saw significant marks and scrapes on Stevie’s face, according to reports. Faith, 48, was arrested after she and Stevie appeared to try to minimize allegations that their marriage was in peril.
Faith was previously married to Todd Russaw from 1998 until 2011, so this is Stevie J’s first divorce. In 1994, Faith married The Notorious B.I.G., with whom she remained until his death in 1997.
