UK introduces a traveler entrance fee. It should be noted that vacations will soon become a little more expensive if you have any future intentions to travel to England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, or Wales.

A few years ago, the UK left the EU and it has finally disclosed the cost of its own program, the ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization), which is approximately £10 for two years.

According to the most recent development, the UK has already declared that beginning in 2024, visa-free travelers would be needed to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), meaning all visitors (aside from citizens of the United Kingdom and Ireland) must seek authorization and pay a price before entering the country.

However, the administration asserts that the ETA will permit several trips, be good for two years or until the holder’s passport expires, whichever comes first, and be reasonably priced compared to other similar foreign programs offered by international partners.

According to reports, the procedure will be electronically linked to the applicant’s passport and is expected to take between 48 and 72 hours. After that, travellers will be able to stay in the UK for up to 180 days (6 months) and choose to travel wherever in the nation provided the ETA is received.

According to reports, this program will begin on October 25, 2023, for inhabitants of Qatar, and on February 1, 2024, for citizens of Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. And it will be rolled out for the rest of the world by end of 2024.
