Earlier this week, negotiations were underway between Mina’s representatives and Fiorentina as they looked to reach a definitive agreement on salary and bonuses for the player.

Having become a free agent after his contract with Everton expired in July, the 28-year-old Colombian is open to joining a new club.

Apart from his time with The Toffees, Mina previously had a stint at Barcelona during the 2017-2018 season, although he only managed six appearances.

Fiorentina sees Mina’s profile as a perfect fit for their requirements, and the player had also shown interest in the club’s pursuit of him.
