President Muhammadu Buhari has commended the hard work of his second term government in tackling social issues that influence many citizens in Nigeria, in spite of several challenges faced.
Buhari made the acclamation while addressing his ministers at a treat on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. According to him, the two-day treat was an opportunity to make certain that the accomplishment of his ministerial deliverables is on the right path, and to accelerate the attainment of the nine main areas to make Nigeria better.

The president said an evaluation of the ministerial performance of one year into his second term demonstrates that progress ‘has been made on all fronts,’ praising the efforts of his government in tackling insecurity, corruption, and boosting the economy.
“Let me reassure all Nigerians that this administration remains resolute in initiating programmes aimed at improving the quality of lives and uplifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty over the next ten years,” he said.

Moreover, President Buhari also promised that his government will continue to close the gap between various socio-economic classes to bring bliss to a greater number of citizens. He further ordered his cabinet members to always work together and direct their determinations for the benefit of Nigerians.
“I have directed that a central delivery coordination unit at the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation should be revived, to ensure the much-needed synergy and focus on results. Information to the public should be better packaged. Go on the offensive. We are proud of our achievements and we should blow our own trumpets,” added Buhari.
