The Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) Prof Umar Danbatta have said that 5G mobile technology has no adverse consequence on Nigerians’ health.
He noticed that as opposed to the broad conviction about the 5G technology, it does not imply the health of people.

He talked at a public talk titled 5G Mobile Technology: Myths, Realities, Potentials, and Challenges coordinated by Kwara State University (KWASU) Malete, hung on Thursday in Ilorin, the state capital.
He said the technology, whenever embraced, will decrease running costs incorporate associations, private and public organizations by half.
Addressed by a chief in the commission, Engr Yusuf Asaju, the NCC manager said the advantages of taking on the new technology far offset the legends being peddled around about it.
It doesn’t have anything to do with “our health.” It will decrease overhead costs by 50%, Danbatta announced.
Prior, the vice-chancellor of KWASU, Prof Mohammed Akanbi, said the talk was coordinated to give a genuine stage to edifying general society on the attractiveness of 5G technology.
He said 5G technology when sent will help instructing and learning in schools and organizations, adding that in the training area, we can’t de-underscore the significance of technology.
