The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the November 6 gubernatorial election in Anambra, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, says sports will also be a cardinal part of his administration if elected.
The PDP flag bearer said this during a parley with pressmen in Awka on Monday, according to The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) report.

According to him, he would run sports both as an entertainment and business adding that he appreciated the importance of sports to youth employment and the general economy.
Ozigbo, who consistently sponsored competitions in the past where some stars were discovered, said he would revitalize moribund facilities in the state should he be declared winner in the November 6 gubernatorial election.

He said he had run an issues-based campaign after emerging from the most credible primary ahead of the election and that he was the most qualified for the top political office in Anambra.
He, therefore, called on the electorate to come out en mass and vote massively for him on Saturday for the total transformation of Anambra.
