Speaking at the biennial workshop for examiners of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) in Lagos, the governor stressed that nurses can significantly enhance the evaluation process through the adoption of modern technological tools.
By leveraging technology, nurses can create a more dynamic and engaging curriculum that aligns with the demands of contemporary healthcare.
The governor, represented by Dr. Olusegun Ogboye, the permanent secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Health, highlighted the shared goal of health workers to elevate the standard of healthcare in Nigeria.
Technology can play a pivotal role in finding practical solutions to improve nursing education and practice in various institutions and healthcare facilities.
The workshop was themed, “Integrating Technology into the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria’s Professional Examinations: A Tool for Advancement in Nursing Education and Practice”.
